Slzzpy Girl was conceptualized to be an avenue in which people, especially women of African descent, could feel free to not only educate themselves but also to BE themselves. Slzzpy Girl's founder, Jenae Monlouis, recognized the lack of self-confidence and self-awareness in her community. She additionally noticed that clothing was a clear form of expression for many people. By understanding the crucial necessity of education and self-confidence, Jenae has created a way for individuals to feel truly comfortable and educated through inexpensive clothing that could be worn in and out of the house.
