About The Capitol Ballroom Council: Mission Statement: The purpose of the council is to organize and mobilize LGBTQIA+ individuals and houses of the House and Ballroom Community by sharing ideas, providing resources and promoting unity within Washington DC and connecting areas within close proximity such as Baltimore, Prince Georges County, Montgomery County and Northern Virginia. Vision Statement: We envision a structured Ballroom community thriving through consistent stewardship of charity, humanity, promoting leadership development, focusing on growth, innovation, productivity, creativity and camaraderie.
